Once upon a time, there was this…
Haha I wont do that. But really today has been a day! Soooo let me preface this story by saying I know nothing about cars. With that being said there was a squeaking noise that came from under the hood of the car. I (not knowing anything about cars) thought that it was my air conditioning fan belt (if that even exist IDK) because it seemed to me that it only happened when I turned on the air. So again being me I assumed that everything was going to be okay, I just wasn’t going to have air for a while.
So one day the like last week, the squeaking STOPPED (I don’t think I said this before but I thought the belt just needed some WD-40! Silly girl, Cars are for men lol jk), and I just assumed (again) that it fixed itself.
NOPE! WRONG… I can move on to today now because I know you are dying to know. Well I am on my way to work and my car starts going haywire, all these lights start going off and beeping! All like they were saying were going to DIE! Okay maybe that was a little extreme! I started to get a little nervous, idk what it is but about when your car stops acting the way it should you think that it is going to blow up, again maybe a little extreme but true!
Anyway I get to my first stop before work, the post office (insert ooos and ahhhs here), by this time it is fully going BANANAS! So I turn the car thinking okay when I get out the post office and turn it back on it will be fine! NOPE! WRONG again.
It won’t even start, my radio won’t even stay on for more than 5 seconds, those of you who are reading this and know things about cars, you probably already know what the problem and give yourself a high five for that!
IT WAS THE BATTERY, girls and boys, the battery. So I pick up the phone and call my husband and ask him to pick me up and take me to work and get my brother in law to help him fix it bc he, my husband, doesn’t know that much about cars either ( but he does know sports and music)- my brother in law however is Mr fix it!
To end this extremely long and eventful blog post, I like to say that my Scion is fixed, running, and none of the lights and sounds are going off at me. I am safe and my car did not blow up.
I am not sure the details into getting it fixed I was working but I’m sure my brother in law wrote something about it! I will reblog it!
Random Fact to leave you with- Dolphins sleep with one eye open! You guys better watch out for those dolphins.
